Embark on an extraordinary trans-Arctic voyage connecting three astonishing worlds, beginning with the sophistication of Helsinki before flying to Longyearbyen in Svalbard. In Spitsbergen, you will sail past spectacular glacier fronts and blooming tundra, searching for polar bears, walruses, and reindeer. The expedition continues across the Greenland Sea toward the country's remote eastern coast, a wild territory dominated by ancient Thule settlements and the majestic Scoresbysund, widely considered the most beautiful fjord system on Earth and the birthplace of colossal icebergs. Here, you will visit Ittoqqortoormiit, one of the most isolated communities in the world.
The final leg of the journey crosses the Denmark Strait to venture into Iceland's Westfjords, a rugged and seldom-visited region known as the country's best-kept secret. In this dramatic landscape of towering cliffs, remote waterfalls like Mongufoss, and small fishing communities keeping Viking maritime heritage alive, you will enjoy Zodiac cruises and guided hikes in the wildest wilderness before concluding the expedition with disembarkation in the vibrant capital of Reykjavik.
