This 10-day expedition offers a remarkable "Island Odyssey" across the North Atlantic, bridging the historic capital of Scotland with the volcanic landscapes of Iceland. The journey begins in Edinburgh before sailing to the Orkney Islands, a region steeped in Norse legends and prehistoric history, home to sites like Skara Brae and St. Magnus Cathedral. Guests will also visit Fair Isle, Britain’s most remote inhabited island and a world-renowned haven for birdwatchers, where traditional wool knitting and dramatic bird cliffs define the local culture.

A significant portion of the voyage is dedicated to the Faroe Islands, a constellation of 18 islands characterized by mist-shrouded basalt walls and emerald valleys. From the historic Tinganes peninsula in Tórshavn to the waterfalls of Vágar and the nesting cliffs of Vestmanna, the archipelago offers deep immersion into Faroese hospitality and wildlife. The expedition concludes in Iceland with a visit to the volcanic Westman Islands and the capital, Reykjavík. Throughout the trip, expert lectures in British history and geology complement the bilingual onboard service.

Highlights:
Explore ancient Viking heritage and prehistoric settlements in the Orkney Islands.
Experience a birdlife spectacle at Fair Isle and the sea cliffs of Vestmanna.
Discover the remote charm and cultural heart of the 18 Faroe Islands.
Hike the Eldfell Volcano and visit the Eldheimar Museum in the Westman Islands, Iceland.
Enjoy bilingual English-Chinese service and custom Asian-style cuisine on board.
