Day 1:
Departure from Longyearbyen
Embark at 4pm and begin sailing past Fuglefjella (Bird Mountain), a striking plateau landscape and important bird habitat.

Days 2–3:
Walruses, fjords, and whales
Explore Poolepynten on Prins Karls Forland, home to a walrus colony and historic burial site. Cruise into Magdalenefjord, framed by dramatic pointed mountains, and sail along the continental shelf, where fin and blue whales often gather. At the ice edge, scout for seals, seabirds, and polar bears in ever-changing light.

Day 4:
Bird cliffs and Austfonna
Marvel at Alkefjellet, a towering cliff alive with Brünnich’s guillemots. Take a Zodiac cruise around Storisstraumen, then sail to Bråsvellbreen, part of the vast Austfonna ice cap. A landing in Sjuøyane (Seven Islands) may allow exploration of cultural remains, bird colonies, and walrus haulouts.

Days 6–7:
Northwest Svalbard exploration
Land on Ytre Norskøya to hike near bird cliffs and nesting sites of Arctic terns, little auks, geese, and eiders. Enjoy a Zodiac cruise of Fjortende Julbreen glacier and Fjortende Julibukta bay, before sailing south to Isfjorden.

Day 8:
Return to Longyearbyen
Disembark at 9am, ending your photographic journey in the Arctic.
