This voyage proposes a deep immersion into East Greenland during the latter half of September, an optimum time of year for witnessing the magical phenomenon of the northern lights. The navigation ventures into mythical Scoresbysund, the largest fjord system in the world, a labyrinthine natural network strewn with cathedral-size icebergs and steep mountainous landscapes. Utilizing an innovative expedition micro-cruise concept for small groups, the journey balances comfortable accommodations and spontaneous exploration, allowing passengers to experience the Arctic wilderness at its wildest with no queues or delays.

Shore landings and exciting Zodiac cruises provide excellent opportunities to spot Greenland's native wildlife, including musk oxen, Arctic foxes, Arctic hares, and reindeer in their natural habitats. The itinerary also features a visit to the remote settlement of Ittoqqortoormiit, one of the most isolated towns on the planet, offering genuine insight into the unique Greenlandic way of life and culture. Day 1: Charter Flight to Greenland
From Iceland to Constable Point
Meet other guests and the representative at the pre-arranged meeting point in Keflavik Airport or Reykjavik Airport, Iceland, before going through security together and boarding our private charter plane to Nerlerit Inaat Airport (Constable Point), Greenland. From the airport, we will take a short hike to the shore and board Zodiac boats to take us to our expedition ship.

Day 2-3: Viking Bay and Danmark Island
Basalt columns and Thule remains
Explore Viking Bay by Zodiac cruise, marvelling at the bird cliffs and stunning basalt columns. Hike on Danmark Island, a striking island in the fjord, spotting divers and looking out for musk oxen, alongside ancient historical Thule remains.

Day 4-6: Hare Fjord, Ofjord, and Sydkap
Deep sailing in Scoresby Sund
Sail into Hare Fjord, named after the Arctic hares that preside here. Tour the steep-sided Ofjord and land on the Bear Islands for panoramic views of this scenic stretch of Scoresbysund. Land on Sydkap to discover Thule remains and a hunters’ cabin, gaining a dramatic view of the surrounding icebergs on the border of the Northeast Greenland National Park.

Day 7: Ittoqqortoormiit
Isolation and lifestyle in the High Arctic
Sail to Ittoqqortoormiit, one of the remotest towns on the planet, introducing you to its idiosyncratic culture and traditional Arctic way of life.

Day 8: Charter Flight Back to Iceland
Overnight stay in Reykjavik
On the final day, we’ll take our private charter flight back to Iceland. Upon arrival, transfer to our comfortable hotel for a relaxing evening and overnight stay, including a farewell dinner to unwind and reflect on your unforgettable journey.
