Explore Scoresbysund in autumn, and witness the northern lights casting their spell across the sky. This otherworldly event is particularly common here at this time of year, illuminating the night sky above a mythical land where Arctic wildlife roam the shores and monolithic icebergs drift down fairytale fjords. The East Greenland Voyage
Secret Atlas is founded, led, and made for explorers by explorers. We understand that every expedition is unique, so we don�t follow a fixed itinerary. We believe that real expeditions should follow the opportunities that the wilderness offers and our expert guides know exactly how to maximise your experience. The following itinerary is an example. The East Greenland expedition is flexible and its course will be defined on daily bases sustained by the opportunities presented by weather, ice and wildlife.

Days 1�2 Join MV Vikingfjord in Greenland
Starting from Keflavik Airport, Iceland, our charter plane will take us to Nerlerit Inaat Airport (Constable Point), Greenland, where we will join our expedition ship.

Days 3�5 Exploring Scoresby Sund
Viking Bay & Danmark Island Embark on a breathtaking journey along the Explore Viking Bay by Zodiac cruise, marvelling at the bird cliffs and stunning basalt columns.

Days 6�8 Exploring Scoresby Sund
Sail into Hare Fjord, which likely gained its name from the Arctic hare that preside here.

Tour steep-sided Ofjord and land on the Bear Islands for panoramic views of this scenic stretch of Scoresbysund.

Land on Sydkap to discover Thule remains and a hunters� cabin, gaining a dramatic view of the surrounding icebergs on the border of the Northeast Greenland National Park.

Days 9-10 Ittoqqortoormiit & Flight Home
Sail to Ittoqqortoormiit, one of the remotest towns on the planet, with an idiosyncratic culture and way of life. Then, fly back to Keflavik on a charter plane, enjoying dinner and a night in a hotel before returning home.
