On board your expedition vessell you will find a group of experts, naturalists, zodiac drivers and guides that that will translate the language of nature for you, telling you the stories of the places you are visiting, reviewing the historical, biological, ecological and geological aspects of your trips.

Sea kayaking is one of the highlights for any Polar Traveller, providing ice and weather conditions are assessed as safe by your Expedition Team.

Explore the stunning Helgeland Coast in Norway on a 6-day sailing tour, crossing the Arctic Circle. Encounter iconic mountains, serene beaches, and vibrant sunsets. Experience the rich coastal culture, spot diverse wildlife, and marvel at the Saltstraumen Maelstrom. Disconnect from urban life and immerse yourself in the beauty and adventure of this unique region.
Day 1 - Monday - Maelstrom & Beach Sunset
Check-in to the yacht in Bodø at 15:00 (3pm). Settle into your cabins, enjoy a light snack then walk over to the starting point for your 2 hour Saltstraumen Maelstrom RIB tour. Return to the yacht and depart from Bodø harbor in the evening. Dinner will be served after departure. The yacht will drop anchor for the night near Langsanden beach, where you can enjoy a long walk on a secluded white sand beach.
Day 2 - Tuesday - Arctic Circle Crossing & Fishing
A scenic sail to Vikingen island crossing over the arctic circle. Relax on the top deck, watch for birds, whales enjoy landscape photography. Try fishing along the way for your fresh caught dinner. The yacht will drop anchor in Sørfjorden where you can enjoy the evening in the hot tub.
Day 3 - Wednesday - Open Sea Sailing & Kayak/sup
Sail West toward the open sea, past Hestmannen to Træna. Enjoy the incredible scenery outside or relax in the warm interior saloon with blankets, a book, playing cards, sea shanties or taking naps. Explore the small islands of Træna by kayak or SUP during sunset.
Day 4 - Thursday - Hike & Explore
Spend the day exploring the magical island of Sørsanna with a unique collection of ancient monuments, houses and caves dating back to the early stone age almost 9000 years ago. Go for a moderate summit hike to Gumpen (2km), walk through tunnels, explore the village and visit the ancient Kirkhelleren cave.
Day 5 - Friday - Fjord Cruise & Cave Bonfire
Starting your return sail back north toward Bodø, sail from Træna to Fugløyfjorden where the yacht will drop anchor for the night. Go for a sunset walk and enjoy a bonfire by the the Lønngangen hula cave.
Day 6 - Saturday - Return Sail
On your final day, enjoy the scenery of sailing through fjords, islands and skerries as you return to Bodø, and disembark at 15:00 (3pm)
