Day 1: Reykjavík, Iceland
Embark on Your Journey
Your voyage begins in the late afternoon, after a day of independent discovery and arrival in the captivating city of Reykjavík.
Iceland’s cosmopolitan capital was founded in 874 CE.
Powered by geothermal energy, Reykjavík is widely regarded as one of the cleanest and greenest cities in the world. Its food, culture, and nightlife are vibrant.
The National Culture House safeguards treasures such as the Poetic Edda and the Norse Sagas in their original manuscripts.

Day 2: At Sea
Sail in the Footsteps of the Vikings
Keep an eye out for whales and seabirds as we navigate the Denmark Strait.
You’ll be truly tracing the path of the Vikings as we sail westward from Iceland.
Our onboard education program will prepare you for the archaeology, history, culture, and wildlife that await you in Greenland.

Day 3: Sea Ice
Admire the Arctic's Frozen Grandeur
Spend the day navigating through sea ice, soaking in the dramatic beauty of the Arctic. Step out on deck to spot Arctic wildlife and seabirds, which sometimes follow our vessel’s route. As we advance toward Greenland’s rugged coastline, enjoy fascinating insights from your expert expedition team, bringing this remote realm to life.

Day 4–6: Southeast Greenland
Discover Fjords, Icebergs, and Whales
Journey through the remote expanse of southeast Greenland by ship, in Zodiacs, and on shore.
Your first sight of this rarely visited area will unveil a breathtaking coastline lined with countless fjords and, at times, scattered with pack ice.
Whether walking on land, exploring the shore, or sailing, our seasoned expedition team will accompany you, sharing their deep knowledge. Join them on deck to watch for iconic Arctic wildlife, including polar bears, seals, and humpback whales. Their expertise will help you forge a deeper connection to these stunning landscapes.

Day 7: Ikerasassuaq (Prince Christian Sound)
Behold Mountains and Glaciers
Make the most of your time on deck as our team scouts for landing opportunities in this spectacular region.
Immerse yourself in the beauty of Ikerasassuaq (Prince Christian Sound), one of the world’s most remarkable waterways, where the Irminger and Labrador Seas meet among the islands of the Cape Farewell Archipelago.
Here, jagged mountain summits rise above tranquil waters nourished by calving glaciers.

Day 8: Brattahlíð
Explore a Reconstructed Norse Village
Visit the intriguing Brattahlíð, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located in Greenland’s most fertile area. Stroll through a recreated Norse church and Viking longhouse for a complete immersion in the Viking era.
Once home to Viking explorer Erik the Red and his descendants until the 1400s, Brattahlíð is now maintained by Greenlandic Inuit, who continue to work the sheep farms originally founded by Norse settlers.

Day 9–10: South Greenland
Experience Striking Scenery
South Greenland lives up to its name: here the land is fertile, and farming flourishes. Agricultural fields contrast with the stark ice covering much of the country. In this region, sharp mountains soar above green meadows, and sheep farms lie near magnificent ice fjords. These fjords, with their deep blue waters and towering cliffs, create an unforgettable setting for every activity.

As we explore—by Zodiac or on foot—we’ll be surrounded by this unique scenery, where Norse history blends with modern Greenlandic life. The fjords add unmatched beauty and tranquility to the voyage, making each moment memorable.

Day 11: Sermersooq
Birdwatching & Zodiac Exploration
Explore Greenland’s Sermersooq region by Zodiac or on foot, depending on landing conditions.
Discover a spectacular array of mountain peaks, glaciers, and fjords, with evidence of human presence dating back over 1,500 years.
Look out for nattoralik (white-tailed eagles), seabirds, and marine life while enjoying the lush landscapes of southwest Greenland.

Day 12–13: Nuuk
Immerse in Culture, Shops, and Cafés
Visit lively Nuuk, Greenland’s capital. Explore the Greenland National Museum, home to the renowned Qilakitsoq mummies.
The old harbor features many buildings from Danish colonial times, while modern Nuuk is famous for its art, shopping, pubs, and cafés.
Your voyage ends here. Disembark by Zodiac, then transfer to the airport by bus for your charter flight to Toronto, ON.
