This 10-day circumnavigation of Iceland offers an immersive journey through the "Land of Fjords & Epic Waterfalls," starting and ending in the cosmopolitan city of Reykjavík. The expedition quickly moves off the beaten path, beginning with the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, often called “Iceland in Miniature,” featuring dramatic cliffs, glaciers, and the iconic Kirkjufell Mountain. A significant focus is placed on Iceland's powerful water features, including the towering Dynjandi waterfall in the remote Westfjords, Goðafoss ("Waterfall of the Gods"), and Dettifoss, renowned as Europe’s most powerful waterfall.
The journey traverses the Arctic Circle, with a visit to Grímsey Island, teeming with seabirds and unique Arctic landmarks. Cultural exploration includes learning maritime history in Siglufjörður, the former “Herring Capital,” and visiting colorful 19th-century Norwegian trading houses in Seyðisfjörður. Volcanic and geothermal wonders are explored at Lake Mývatn and Lake Urriðavatn, where guests can soak in a geothermal pool. The voyage is enhanced by an included photography program, designed to help capture Iceland’s dramatic contrasts, from black-sand beaches and lava fields to thriving seabird colonies in the Vestmannaeyjar Archipelago.

Witness Dynjandi, the "Thunderous" waterfall, and Dettifoss, Europe’s most powerful waterfall.
