Day 1: All Aboard in Kangerlussuaq!
The start of the journey
Arrive in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland’s key air hub with a rich Cold War history. Transfer by Zodiac to the ship, settle into cabins, and toast with champagne as we begin our journey through the stunning Kangerlussuaq fjord.

Day 2: Sisimiut – Greenland’s Second City
Ancient history and modern Arctic life
Inhabited since 2,500 BC, Sisimiut blends traditional and modern life. Visit the museum quarter with historic buildings like the 1775 Blue Church and explore the Taseralik cultural center. It is a key hub for the fishing industry where you can taste local delicacies.

Day 3: Qeqertarsuaq (Disko Island)
Basalt mountains and lush tundras
This picturesque town sits beneath towering volcanic mountains. Thanks to its rich soil and mild microclimate, it has unusually lush greenery. We will explore the dramatic coastline of nearby Kuannit by Zodiac, famed for caves, waterfalls, and icebergs.

Day 4: Eqip Sermia Glacier
The roar of active ice
Eqip Sermia is one of Greenland’s most active glaciers. If conditions allow, we will launch Zodiacs to approach its imposing front and experience, from a safe distance, the roar of the glacier’s frequent calvings into the sea.

Day 5: Ilulissat, Iceberg Capital of the World
Ice giants and explorer heritage
Ilulissat is home to the UNESCO-listed Icefjord, where the Sermeq Kujalleq glacier produces many of the Northern Hemisphere’s icebergs. We will hike trails to the icefjord and explore the birthplace of legendary explorer Knud Rasmussen.

Day 6: Itilleq Village
Hunting heritage and hospitality
Located just north of the Arctic Circle, Itilleq preserves a rich Inuit hunting heritage. Locals still rely on fishing and hunting muskox. Experience the warmth of Greenlandic hospitality in this homely hamlet.

Day 7: Kangerlussuaq – Disembarkation
Return to the wilderness
We sail up the Kangerlussuaq Fjord and disembark by Zodiac. After a fond farewell to the Expedition Team, the adventure ends at the airport, leaving lasting memories of Greenland’s wild landscapes.
