Itinerary

Day 1 - 2026/05/16

Embark: Edinburgh, Scotland

Embark your voyage in Scotland’s historic capital. With its skyline crowned by the iconic Edinburgh Castle and cobbled streets steeped in history, Edinburgh offers the perfect prelude to your North Atlantic adventure.

Our complimentary Air2Sea group transfer will be available from Edinburgh Airport (EDI) and Edinburgh Waverley Station from 12pm to 3pm (pre-reservation required). If you will travel from other places, please arrive at the pier during 3pm to 5pm for check-in procedure.

Day 2 - 2026/05/17

Kirkwall, Orkney Islands

Step into the world of Norse legends. You may choose our shore excursion activities to explore Orkney Islands. Visit Kirkwall’s St. Magnus Cathedral and explore nearby prehistoric sites such as Skara Brae or the Standing Stones of Stenness, each revealing layers of Orkney’s rich human history. Beyond its ancient past, Orkney is also known for its time-honored whisky-making traditions, the gentle peat smoke and sea air infusing local distilleries with a character as distinctive as the islands themselves.

Day 3 - 2026/05/18

Fair Isle, Scotland

Regarded as one of Britain’s most remote and enchanting islands, Fair Isle is world-renowned as a birdwatcher’s haven. Rare species such as red-breasted flycatchers and Arctic terns thrive here, and the island serves as a vital stopover for migratory birds. It is also home to the UK’s first bird observatory.

We hike to the dramatic bird cliffs, where crashing waves meet towering rock walls and seabirds circle overhead. Along the way you will see ancient stone circles and old houses, remnants of the island’s history. With only a handful of residents, solitude is part of the island’s charm. Later, we’ll be welcomed at the community hall with tea, coffee, and homemade local treats. Fair Isle is also famed for its intricate wool knitting, a tradition as enduring as the island itself.

Day 4 to 7 - 2026/05/19 to 2026/05/22

Explore the Faroe Islands

A scattered constellation of 18 islands rising dramatically from the North Atlantic, the Faroe Islands are a realm of mist-shrouded cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and emerald valleys shaped by wind and sea. During these four days, we will explore both the cultural heart and remote corners of this extraordinary archipelago, from charming coastal villages to secluded fjords accessible only by Zodiac.

Between landings, watch for puffins, kittiwakes, and fulmars wheeling above towering basalt walls. The islands’ ever-changing weather, shifting light, and the warmth of Faroese hospitality create an atmosphere unlike anywhere else on Earth.

We will have the opportunity to visit some of the following sites, all depends on the weather & sea conditions as well as the captain and expedition leader’s decision:

  • Tórshavn: Discover one of the world’s smallest capitals, where grass-roofed houses line the historic Tinganes peninsula and local cafés hum with Nordic creativity.

  • Nólsoy: Cross the narrow sound to this peaceful island, home to an extraordinary colony of storm petrels and a close-knit community proud of its seafaring heritage.

  • Gøtuvík: A picturesque bay framed by green slopes, perfect for nature walks and glimpses into traditional village life.

  • Elduvík: A small village at the foot of steep cliffs. Its narrow paths and seaside views make it perfect for a calm morning ashore.

  • Vágar: A landscape photographer’s dream. Vágar is known for its serene lakes and waterfalls tumbling directly into the sea. It is a place of pure northern beauty.

  • Vestmanna: Famous for its majestic sea cliffs, alive with nesting seabirds and accessible by scenic Zodiac cruising in the golden light of late evening.

After four unforgettable days among these islands, we set sail northward toward Iceland.

Day 8 - 2026/05/23

At Sea

A full day at sea invites you to slow down and enjoy life on board. The morning might begin with coffee and the sound of waves, followed by a talk from our Expedition Team about seabirds, ocean currents, or the islands ahead. Join a friendly quiz or a small group game with fellow travelers, or spend time in the gym as the horizon shifts outside the window. In the afternoon, the Observation Lounge on Deck 7 offers the best views in every direction, a quiet space for reading or simply watching the changing light on the water. As evening falls, the ship moves gently through open seas, and the calm rhythm of the ocean becomes its own kind of adventure.

Day 9 - 2026/05/24

Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland

Arriving at the volcanic Westman Islands, you feel the energy of the sea and cliffs around you. Thousands of puffins dot the rocks, their calls filling the air. Hike up Eldfell Volcano, visit the Eldheimar Museum to learn about the dramatic 1973 eruption, and walk through preserved neighborhoods once buried by lava. Staying on board overnight, the gentle rocking of the ship and the evening sea breeze create a serene end to a day full of discovery.

Day 10 - 2026/05/25

Disembark: Reykjavík, Iceland

Reykjavík welcomes you with its colorful harbor and the scent of the sea. This morning, the Seaventure arrives in Reykjavik. After enjoying a final breakfast on board, take a moment to say farewell to your expedition team, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences and breathtaking landscapes you have encountered over the past days.

Our complimentary Air2Sea transfer will be available from the pier to Keflavik Airport (KEF) or other downtown area in Reykjavik in the morning (pre-reservation required).
