Embark on a remarkable 18-day journey aboard the World Navigator from Nuuk to St. John's, linking the dramatic fjords of Greenland with the historic frontiers of the Canadian North. The expedition begins with a deep dive into Greenland, exploring the capital's fjords and venturing into areas like Greenland National Park, the largest in the world, where you may spot belugas, narwhals, and musk oxen.

The voyage then crosses into the Canadian Arctic to the majestic Torngat Mountains National Park. Here, you will cruise through Saglek Fjord, witnessing sheer granite cliffs and looking for polar bears. The final leg explores the rich cultural and historical tapestry of Newfoundland and Labrador, visiting L’Anse aux Meadows (the authenticated Norse settlement, UNESCO site), the historic whaling outpost of Red Bay, and the French flair of Saint Pierre and Miquelon.

Day 1: Nuuk, Greenland

Making possible landings amid Greenland National Park, you may find yourself within one of the country’s largest fjord systems. Plentiful with wildlife from belugas and narwhals to seals, walruses, caribou, musk oxen, and even possible polar bear sightings.

Day 3: Qeqertarsuaq (Disko Bay), Greenland / Eqi Glacier (Disko Bay) – Captain’s Choice
Ilulissat Icefjord views and calving glacier
Qeqertarsuaq offers a mix of Arctic vitality and raw beauty. Nearby trails lead through wildflowers and past views of the UNESCO-listed Ilulissat Icefjord. Alternatively, explore Eqi Glacier—the Calving Glacier—where you’re likely to see chunks of calving ice fall into the water.

Day 4: Ilulissat (Disko Bay), Greenland
Iceberg capital of the world
Ilulissat and its UNESCO-listed Icefjord invite you to traverse these wondrous lands. You may find an opportunity to kayak amid the icebergs as the Midnight Sun sits on the horizon. Navigating Disko Bay, you’re likely to catch sight of a beluga or bowhead whale, or perhaps even a narwhal.

Day 5: Qikiqtarjuaq, Nunavut – Captain’s Choice
Authentic Canadian Inuit life
Qikiqtarjuaq offers an authentic window into Canadian Inuit life. The surrounding waters are rich with bowhead whales and narwhals, and the region is home to a thriving population of polar bears. Days 7-8: Lady Franklin Island, Nunavut / Monumental Island, Nunavut – Captain’s Choice
Polar bear and walrus havens
Lady Franklin Island is a haven for Arctic wildlife. Zodiac cruising here may reveal polar bears roaming the shoreline, walrus hauled out on ice floes, and seabirds soaring above its rugged cliffs. Alternatively, Monumental Island is a key destination for spotting polar bears and walrus in the wild.

Day 9: Button Islands, Nunavut – Captain’s Choice

Day 18: St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada Disembarkation in one of North America’s first settlements Disembark in the heart of downtown St. John’s, one of the first European settlements in North America. Explore charming streets, the brightly colored homes of Jelly Bean Row, and hike the North Head Trail to Signal Hill.
