Not only we travel from one point to another and find our shelter on board the ship we chose. We also enjoy from incredible scenery, landscapes and interactions that only our noble vessel can provide.
Everyday the Bridge Team navigates the ship to position ourselves on the best posible spots, looking for unique opportunities.
Many times, this includes sainig through narrow passages, on the vicinity of glaciers or entering bays and fjords only approachable from the ship.

Shore excursions are the backbone of almost all itineraries, with most ships making landfall at least once every day once they reach their destination. The weather plays a huge role in your daily itinerary, although given the sheer array of fantastic landing sites all over there are plenty of options your Captain and Expedition Leader can choose from. On-shore excursions allow you to visit scientific research stations, communities, prominent wildlife colonies and take hikes to elevated viewing points for fantastic photography.

On board the Zodiac you will discover a world of possibilities; accessing the most exclusive landing sites, cruising the coast in search of wildlife or simply enjoying a tour in the calm of the polar regions in search of marine wildlife or bird colonies.
The blue ice an its intimate presence is experienced at its best on zodiac tours.
It is not uncommon to meet curious seals, or humpback whales feeding.

This East Greenland expedition invites total immersion into the largest and deepest fjord system on Earth: Scoresby Sund. With mountains exceeding 2,000 meters and glaciers calving icebergs of cathedral proportions, the landscape is a constant reminder of nature's power. What makes this journey unique is the "Long Hikes" focus, allowing adventurers to spend entire days exploring the Hoffman Peninsula or Saakattaakajik, seeking muskoxen and Arctic foxes in areas where modern civilization seems like a myth.
In addition to trekking, the voyage covers historical and cultural landmarks, from Thule turf house remains to the settlement of Ittoqqortoormiit, where life is still governed by hunting and ancient traditions. We will navigate narrow channels like Turner Sound and Rømer Fjord, home to hot springs and elusive narwhals. At night, Greenland's remote waters offer the perfect stage for the dance of the Northern Lights, completing the ultimate Arctic experience.

Heading North
Morning departure from Reykjavik via chartered bus (booking required) to Akureyri. Boarding in the afternoon and setting sail toward the Denmark Strait.
Day 2: Sailing to East Greenland
Crossing the Arctic Circle
A day for spotting seabirds and cetaceans. By evening, the first icebergs and snow-capped peaks of the Greenland coast appear near Kap Brewster.
Day 3: Arriving at the largest fjord on Earth
Ice giants and Thule culture
Navigating among colossal icebergs. Landings at Tyskit Nunat and Saakattaakajik to see Thule remains with whale bones. First optional long walk toward Sydkap (12 km).
Day 4: Exploring the tundra of Hoffman Peninsula

Sailing through the spectacular Øfjord. A day dedicated to long hikes crossing the peninsula from Harefjord to Rypefjord. Frequent sightings of muskoxen.

Visit Hurry Inlet, famous for Jurassic fossils. In the afternoon, explore Ittoqqortoormiit, home to 500 residents, sled dogs, and their traditional lifestyle.

Visit to an active hunting area with well-preserved ancient remains. A strategic point for spotting polar bears, narwhals, and seals among glacial ice.
