Everyday the Bridge Team navigates the ship to position ourselves on the best posible spots, looking for unique opportunities.
Many times, this includes sainig through narrow passages, on the vicinity of glaciers or entering bays and fjords only approachable from the ship.

Shore excursions are the backbone of almost all itineraries, with most ships making landfall at least once every day once they reach their destination. The weather plays a huge role in your daily itinerary, although given the sheer array of fantastic landing sites all over there are plenty of options your Captain and Expedition Leader can choose from. On-shore excursions allow you to visit scientific research stations, communities, prominent wildlife colonies and take hikes to elevated viewing points for fantastic photography.

On board the Zodiac you will discover a world of possibilities; accessing the most exclusive landing sites, cruising the coast in search of wildlife or simply enjoying a tour in the calm of the polar regions in search of marine wildlife or bird colonies.

Day 1: Kangerlussuaq
Gateway to the Arctic tundra
Arrival in Kangerlussuaq, a former WWII airbase at the head of the fjord. This glacial tundra area is a haven for wildlife, including reindeer, arctic foxes, arctic hares, gyrfalcons, and muskoxen. Kayaking options available with the expedition team.
Day 2: Evigheds Glacier
Cruising Eternity Fjord
Evigheds Glacier carves through dramatic Kangerlussuatsiaq Fjord, also known as Eternity Fjord. Sail this 75-km waterway watching white-tailed eagles and black-legged kittiwakes soar above as colossal icebergs calve into the icy sea.
Day 3: Qeqertarsuaq
Disko Island basalt columns
Visit Qeqertarsuaq, Disko Island's largest town set against red basalt mountains and Lyngemark Glacier. Explore unique volcanic terrain, black sand beaches, and Kuannit's basalt columns, or opt for an excursion to meet local sled dogs.

Day 10: Eqip Sermia Glacier
Thunderous calving glacier
Cruise in front of Eqi Glacier (Eqip Sermia), one of Greenland's most active calving glaciers, spanning nearly 4 km wide. Witness massive chunks of ice breaking off the face into the bay with deafening booms.
Day 11: Ilulissat, Disko Bay
The iceberg capital of the world
Sail through Disko Bay to the UNESCO World Heritage Ilulissat Icefjord, where Sermeq Kujalleq glacier creates thousands of skyscraper-sized icebergs. Options include an Arctic tundra hike or an Icefjord boat cruise among towering icebergs.

Disembarkation and departure
