Set out from Churchill on an extraordinary 15-day expedition, navigating through Hudson Bay’s wildlife-rich shores, across the Canadian Arctic, and into Greenland’s stunning west coast. The journey begins in Churchill, famed for summer gatherings of beluga whales, before exploring the wilderness shores of Coats and Digges Islands. This epic voyage crosses the Hudson Strait, with calls at Akpatok Island, known for its dramatic cliffs and seabird sanctuary, and the wildlife-rich Monumental Island.

The expedition crosses Baffin Bay to Greenland, where the focus shifts to the calving spectacle of the mighty Eqi Glacier and cruising through iceberg-studded Disko Bay. You will experience authentic Inuit heritage in settlements like Kangerluk and the unique charm of Itilleq, a gateway to Greenland’s oldest sheep-farming settlement. The voyage culminates in Nuuk, Greenland’s capital, where you can explore the fjord system best known for humpback whales and modern culture.

Day 2: Embarkation / Hudson Bay Scenic Navigation

Board the yacht. Glide across the tranquil sweep of Hudson Bay, a vast inland sea alive with seasonal wildlife. Beluga whales sometimes surface near the ship, while seabirds ride the breeze overhead.

Day 3: Coats Island (Hudson Bay), Canada – Captain’s Choice
Wild sanctuary for polar bears and walruses
Coats Island is a wild sanctuary where polar bears spend their summers and walruses sprawl across rocky beaches. Cruising close to shore offers the chance to observe this remarkable ecosystem.

Day 11: Eqi Glacier (Disko Bay) – Captain’s Choice

Disko Bay is a wonderland of shifting light, breaching whales, and iceberg-laden waters. Wildlife thrives here—from fin whales and seabird colonies to occasional polar bear sightings on drifting ice.

Day 13: Itilleq, Greenland

A possible landing allows you to wander the winding seaside trails, taking in the views, from the charm of the colorful houses to the landscape of snow-capped mountains. Itilleq is also the gateway village to Igaliku, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 14: Evighed Fjord, Greenland – Captain’s Choice
Fjord of Eternity and soaring peaks
Translating as the “Fjord of Eternity,” Evighedfjord lives up to its name with soaring peaks and blue glaciers spilling into a mirror-calm sea. Zodiac rides glide past sculpted icebergs, where seals lounge and seabirds skim the surface.
