Spend 16 unforgettable days aboard the Expedition as you journey from Iceland’s wild southwestern coast, along the glacier-carved shores of Greenland, and into the dramatic landscapes of Newfoundland and Labrador. Along the way, you’ll visit remote communities, spot wildlife in its natural habitat, and gain a deeper understanding of these rugged regions from your expert expedition crew. From icy fjords to windswept cliffs, you’ll explore some of the planet’s most remote and awe-inspiring places — a journey that’s sure to expand your sense of wonder with every nautical mile.

Venture out by Zodiac to explore the edge of an Arctic ice floe, walk across the tundra while keeping watch for birdlife, and spot a variety of whale species in their natural habitat. Deepen your understanding of the Arctic through expert talks and on-site briefings, sail through stunning fjords and connect with local communities in Greenland, and experience the raw and rugged beauty of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Day 1: Reykjavik/Keflavik
Embarkation and departure from Iceland
Your journey begins in the afternoon with an included transfer to the port of Keflavik. Board the Expedition and drop off your luggage before departing Iceland in the evening. Dinner is included on board.

Day 2: Keflavik/Denmark Strait
Sailing and educational lectures
Spend the day at sea, sailing away from Iceland and attending lectures on local wildlife, history, and the exploration of the Arctic. Keep an eye out for whales and seabirds from the deck.

Day 3: Denmark Strait/Tasiilaq
First Zodiac landing in Greenland
Arrive in Greenland and anchor near Tasiilaq, the largest town in East Greenland. Take a Zodiac to shore to explore on foot, visiting the town's unique church and museum. This town is a gateway to hiking, kayaking, and experiencing traditional Inuit culture.

Days 4–7: Southern Greenland
Exploring fjords, Viking history, and remote settlements
Spend the next few days along the southern tip of Greenland. Sail through the lonesome Skjoldungen Fjords and use Zodiacs to visit the archaeological remains of Qoornoq. Navigate Prince Christian Sound, with its towering mountains and glaciers. If possible, visit Aappilattoq and the fascinating Viking ruins of Hvalsey.

Days 8–9: Davis Strait
Crossing the Davis Strait
Cross the Davis Strait, the southern arm of the Arctic Ocean. This is a great opportunity to attend more educational lectures hosted by the expedition team, covering topics from marine biology to history.

Days 10–13: Newfoundland and Labrador
Visiting historic communities and beautiful landscapes
Sail along the Newfoundland and Labrador coastline. Visit Hebron, a former Inuit community and now a National Historic Site. Travel onward to Hopedale, the legislative capital of the Inuit Land Claims Area. Visit L'Anse aux Meadows, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enjoy the scenery of Woody Point, the gateway to Gros Morne National Park with opportunities for hiking and wildlife viewing.

Days 14–15: Woody Point/St. John's
Sailing to the oldest city in North America
Enjoy your time at sea as the ship sails towards St. John's, the capital of Newfoundland. Arrive on the second day and explore the city's old streets, "candy row" houses, and take in the views of the Atlantic Ocean. You can also attend more lectures and go on Zodiac excursions.

Day 16: St. John's
Disembarkation and departure
Disembark the ship after breakfast. A complimentary transfer to St. John's International Airport will be provided for passengers with flights scheduled for a timely departure.
