This is a trip of "True Alaska" discovery, with opportunities for kayaking, remote beach landings, and other activities determined by the captain and expedition team. You'll voyage through Chatham and Icy Strait, well-known areas for some of the best wildlife viewing in the region.

The highlight for many is Glacier Bay National Park, a remarkable fjord that provides pristine habitat for a wide array of wildlife. You'll also visit Skagway, a Klondike gold rush town where you can retrace the steps of gold-seekers on a historic railroad that climbs nearly 3,000 feet. Day 1: Sitka
Embarkation and a charming waterfront
Welcome to Sitka. Explore this picturesque community with its totem poles, historical park, and St. Michael’s Cathedral. Be charmed by its island-studded waterfront and abundant wildlife.

Day 2: Chatham Strait & Icy Strait
Wildlife viewing and remote adventures
Voyage through Chatham and Icy Strait, well known for some of the best wildlife viewing. Enjoy a day of "True Alaska" discovery with activities like kayaking or a remote beach landing, as determined by the captain.

Day 3: Glacier Bay National Park
A remarkable national park fjord
Spend the day in Glacier Bay National Park, a 65-mile fjord with tidewater glaciers. This park provides a pristine habitat for a wide array of wildlife, including bears, wolves, mountain goats, and sea lions. The highlight is the Margerie Glacier or John Hopkins Glacier, known for their dramatic calving displays.

Day 4: Lynn Canal
Exploration of an intimate inlet
Venture into one of the many intimate coves or inlets of the Chilkat Peninsula or Admiralty Island, such as Alaskan Dream Cruises’ exclusive property at William Henry Bay. Enjoy kayak and expedition vessel exploration in the heart of Alaska’s wilderness.

Day 5: Skagway
History of the Klondike gold rush
Stroll the boardwalks of the gold rush town of Skagway. Enjoy a unique journey on the White Pass and Yukon Route railroad, retracing the steps of gold-seekers into Canada. The railroad climbs nearly 3,000 feet in 20 miles and offers stunning wilderness views.

Disembarkation
