Embark on a 7-night, 8-day expedition to discover the True Alaska that few travelers experience. Your journey begins in Juneau and plunges into Southeast Alaska’s most abundant wildlife areas and stunning glacial fjords. You will spend a full day in Glacier Bay National Park, a remarkable fjord extending 65 miles, which provides pristine habitat for bears, wolves, mountain goats, and humpback whales.
The adventure focuses on immersive exploration: kayaking, hiking, and cruising in wilderness bays and remote destinations. Highlights include navigating the Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness, which naturalist John Muir referred to as, “A wild, unfinished Yosemite,” renowned for its glaciers and towering icebergs. You will also experience local Southeast Alaska culture, visiting the Tlingit village of Kake to view the world’s tallest totem pole and explore the charming Norwegian fishing town of Petersburg.
