Not only we travel from one point to another and find our shelter on board the ship we chose. We also enjoy from incredible scenery, landscapes and interactions that only our noble vessel can provide.
Everyday the Bridge Team navigates the ship to position ourselves on the best posible spots, looking for unique opportunities.
Many times, this includes sainig through narrow passages, on the vicinity of glaciers or entering bays and fjords only approachable from the ship.

Shore excursions are the backbone of almost all itineraries, with most ships making landfall at least once every day once they reach their destination. The weather plays a huge role in your daily itinerary, although given the sheer array of fantastic landing sites all over there are plenty of options your Captain and Expedition Leader can choose from. On-shore excursions allow you to visit scientific research stations, communities, prominent wildlife colonies and take hikes to elevated viewing points for fantastic photography.

On board the Zodiac you will discover a world of possibilities; accessing the most exclusive landing sites, cruising the coast in search of wildlife or simply enjoying a tour in the calm of the polar regions in search of marine wildlife or bird colonies.
The blue ice an its intimate presence is experienced at its best on zodiac tours.
It is not uncommon to meet curious seals, or humpback whales feeding.

You will spend a full day in Glacier Bay National Park, a remarkable fjord extending 65 miles, which provides pristine habitat for bears, wolves, mountain goats, and humpback whales.
The adventure focuses on immersive exploration: kayaking, hiking, and cruising in wilderness bays and remote destinations. Highlights include navigating the Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness, which naturalist John Muir referred to as, “A wild, unfinished Yosemite,” renowned for its glaciers and towering icebergs. You will also experience local Southeast Alaska culture, visiting the Tlingit village of Kake to view the world’s tallest totem pole and explore the charming Norwegian fishing town of Petersburg.

Day 1: Juneau
Embarkation and capital city exploration
Disembark in Juneau, the beautiful capital city of Alaska. Explore the community’s rich culture, history, and biodiversity before embarking for the winding narrows north of town while searching for bald eagles, sea otters, bears, whales, and other wildlife.
Day 2: Lisianski Inlet & Pelican
Boardwalk community and wildlife viewing
Transit Lisianski Inlet, a narrow body of water between Yakobi Island and Chichagof Island, home to dense populations of coastal brown bears. Explore the unique boardwalk “road” of Pelican, Alaska during a port call to this small fishing community.
Day 3: Glacier Bay National Park
Tidewater glaciers and marine habitat
This remarkable national park fjord extends 65 miles, contains tidewater glaciers, and provides pristine habitat for a wide array of wildlife, including both brown and black bears, wolves, mountain goats, Steller sea lions, and humpback whales. The highlight for many is Margerie Glacier or John Hopkins Glacier, known for their dramatic calving displays.

Discover the charming Mitkof Island fishing town of Petersburg, nicknamed Alaska’s “Little Norway.” You will have an opportunity to hike a trail on Mitkof Island or cross the Wrangell Narrows for a scenic hike on Kupreanof Island. Later, explore the Alaska wilderness on the eastern side of Frederick Sound.
Day 6: Kake
Tlingit culture, world's tallest totem pole, and whale watching
View the world’s tallest totem pole, an artist demonstration, and experience the inspiring culture of the Tlingit in the Alaska Native village of Kake. Later, explore the Alaska wilderness in picturesque Frederick Sound—an area humpback whales frequent for feeding. Other opportunities may include Security Bay, Skanax Bay, Pybus Bay, and The Brothers islands.
Day 7: Baranof Island's Waterfall Coast
Remote wilderness exploration
Spend the day exploring remote, Inside Passage wilderness. Explore Baranof Island’s charming shoreline dubbed “The Waterfall Coast” and savor an opportunity to kayak or hike in the area.
Day 8: Sitka
Disembarkation
Disembark in Sitka, the only community in Southeast Alaska that faces the open ocean waters of the Gulf of Alaska. Transportation to your hotel or the airport is complimentary on the day of disembarkation.
