Day 1: Your Adventure Begins in Ushuaia, Argentina
Your journey to the great white continent starts at the southernmost tip of South America. This afternoon, you'll step aboard your expedition vessel in Ushuaia, meet your expert crew and fellow explorers, and settle into your cabin. As we set sail through the historic Beagle Channel, watch the land disappear from view and feel the thrill of the open sea ahead.

Days 2-3: Crossing the Legendary Drake Passage
Your Antarctic adventure truly begins as we navigate the famous Drake Passage, a vast ocean corridor that marks the Antarctic Convergence. This nutrient-rich zone creates a thriving ecosystem, so head to the open decks to spot majestic albatrosses, petrels, and even whales gliding through the waves. While at sea, our onboard polar experts will bring Antarctica to life with fascinating talks on its history, geology, and wildlife. You'll also get prepared for the adventures ahead with safety briefings and workshops for kayaking and snowshoeing. By the evening of Day 3, you'll witness a sight you'll never forget: your first iceberg, signaling our arrival at the South Shetland Islands.

Days 4-8: Exploring the Heart of Antarctica
These five days are the core of your expedition, dedicated to exploring the magnificent Antarctic Peninsula and South Shetland Islands. Each day is a new adventure, with the itinerary crafted by our expert team based on ice and weather conditions to give you the most remarkable encounters possible. Because we have deep knowledge of the region's 500+ landing sites, we take you on true exploratory journeys, far from the crowds.

  • Kayak Among Giants: Paddle through serene, icy waters, gliding past massive icebergs and seals resting on floating ice floes.

  • Walk on a Continent: Strap on snowshoes and trek across pristine snow to reach breathtaking panoramic viewpoints of glaciers and jagged peaks.

  • Meet the Locals: Visit sprawling rookeries of Gentoo, Chinstrap, and Adélie Penguins. Watch their charming antics as they care for their chicks or dive into the frigid sea.

  • Wildlife in its Purest Form: Keep your eyes peeled for Weddell, crabeater, and leopard seals lounging on the ice, and watch for the tell-tale spout of Minke and humpback whales feeding in the rich waters nearby.

Day 9: One Last Antarctic Farewell
As we begin our journey north, we seize the opportunity for one final Zodiac cruise or landing in Antarctica. Conditions permitting, we may explore the towering cliffs of Brown Bluff, home to a vibrant Adélie penguin colony, or the wildlife-rich Paulet Island.

Day 10: Northbound on the Drake Passage
Crossing the Drake Passage again, you'll have time to relive your incredible adventures with fellow travelers. Join our experts for their final lectures, share photos, and keep an eye out for seabirds and whales that escort us north. Tonight, we celebrate our unforgettable journey with a special farewell dinner.

Day 11: Return to Ushuaia
Your expedition vessel will arrive back in Ushuaia this morning, marking the end of your incredible journey.
