Witness the spring awakening of two polar worlds on a uniquely intimate expedition. As South Georgia emerges from winter, the island bursts back to life with golden light illuminating vast king penguin colonies and male elephant seals thundering across the beaches. Continuing south, Antarctica stirs from its long winter, still cloaked in ice and snow. Penguin colonies come alive as gentoo, chinstrap, and Adélie penguins begin courtship rituals, while the first whales of the season breach offshore.

This expedition is thoughtfully tailored for photographers, wildlife enthusiasts, and history aficionados. With just 42 guests, you’ll have the flexibility to venture where larger ships can’t, with no queues, no crowds, and no rigid itinerary. The voyage follows Shackleton’s legendary route, visiting historic sites and navigating stunning Antarctic waterways like the Gerlache Strait and Neumayer Channel. The expedition concludes with a charter flight back to Puerto Natales, the gateway to the dramatic landscapes of Patagonia.
