Embark on an in-depth, 10-day expedition designed for those who want to explore farther and see more of Antarctica. This voyage is a true challenge, with the goal of sailing far south in an attempt to reach the Antarctic Circle. Your journey begins with a two-hour flight from Punta Arenas to King George Island, allowing quick and comfortable access to the White Continent. Once in Antarctica, you will spend six days cruising between the South Shetland Islands and the western coast of the Antarctic Peninsula.
Aboard one of the boutique expedition ships (Magellan Discoverer or Magellan Explorer), you will navigate among spectacular icebergs and along ice-filled fjords. Each day, the Expedition Team guides you ashore via Zodiac, maximizing your time to explore the vast, snowy landscape. The experience is highly enriching, with an engaging program of educational presentations on board and the chance to join interactive workshops and Citizen Science programs.

Specifically, dinner in Punta Arenas upon return from Antarctica is not included.

Visas for Chile, Argentina and/or United Kingdom (for South Georgia), passport expenses, and any arrival and/or departure tax, if applicable.
Application for required entry permit to South Georgia (for the Antarctica & South Georgia air-cruise).
