No other voyage compares: spend more time exploring the Falkland / Malvinas Islands and South Georgia than ever before on this exclusive 20-day Wildlife Adventure. You will immerse yourself for six full days in wildlife-rich South Georgia—often described as the Galapagos of the south seas—where you’ll witness elephant seals battling for breeding rights during peak pupping season. Highlights include visiting Steeple Jason, home to the world’s largest black-browed albatross colony (100,000 to 180,000 breeding pairs).
The journey begins in Buenos Aires and features a charter flight to Puerto Madryn. You will spend three days exploring the Falkland / Malvinas archipelago, with visits to sites like New Island and the capital, Stanley. The expedition is rich in history, allowing you to visit the grave of explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton in Grytviken and discover World War II relics. You will potentially encounter six penguin species (including King and Rockhopper) and four species of dolphins.
