The itinerary is a guide only and is subject to change due to weather and ice conditions. Your Captain and Expedition Leader will make the necessary adjustments to ensure the best possible experience.

Included

This 13-day expedition is designed as a working platform for science, where guests play an active role in Antarctic whale research. Through the deployment of acoustic equipment, drone operations to measure body condition, and suction cup tagging, participants directly contribute to long-term ecological datasets. Science activities include fluke photography for identification, locating animals while underway, and supporting structured observation protocols, allowing travelers to witness and learn from research outcomes almost in real-time while onboard.

With a true expedition mindset, the voyage aims to venture beyond the Antarctic Circle, exploring the dramatic icebergs and glaciers of the Antarctic Peninsula. The itinerary is flexible and dynamically adapts to maximize encounters with abundant wildlife, including not only whales but also penguins and seals. Beyond science, the experience is enriched by Zodiac cruises, guided hikes across glacial landscapes, and the opportunity to kayak through pristine waters, all under the guidance of experts in regional ecology and history.

Highlights:
Engage in whale research and observe marine mammals in their natural habitat.
Venture beyond the Antarctic Circle to one of the most remote frontiers on Earth.
Kayak through pristine Antarctic waters included at no extra cost.
Encounter abundant local wildlife such as penguins, seals, and whales.
Daily Zodiac landings and expert-guided hikes across glacial landscapes.
