This enchanting adventure, designed to change your life, is timed for March when penguin chicks in the Peninsula have grown up and started fledging, taking steps toward becoming mature members of their colonies. Along Saunders Island’s rocky coasts, sheep and albatrosses share the golden stretches of tussock grass. The Atlas Immersive Experience includes a panoramic coach tour of Tierra del Fuego National Park, complete with lunch from Ushuaia at the End of World.

You will embark on adventures in custom-built Zodiac boats, weather permitting, navigating near floating icebergs and glacier-covered shores. The journey is defined by the Captain’s Choice, ensuring a spontaneous sense of exploration as the Captain works with the expedition team to determine optimal shore landings and Zodiac safaris daily. Antarctica is the final frontier for experienced explorers, and you may set foot on sites like Beak Island, Brown Bluff, Cierva Cove, and many more, following paths that few have trekked before. The reward is a chance to witness the likes of humpback whales and hourglass dolphins that accompany the voyage through the legendary Drake Passage.

Days 2-3: Drake Passage Navigation
The rite of passage to the seventh continent / Antarctic peaks on the horizon
Navigating the intrepid Drake Passage is made for the boldest of explorers. Petrels and albatrosses that glide across the skies guide the way. Witness the awesome power of this waterway. The icy peaks of the South Shetland Islands will loom ahead, greeting you on your victorious landing.

Days 4-8: Exploring the Antarctic Peninsula - Captain's Choice
Beak Island, Brown Bluff, Cierva Cove and more / Continuing the spontaneous sense of exploration
Your Captain will expertly navigate ice floes, icebergs and changing sea and weather conditions to determine possible shore landings and Zodiac safaris. Explore sites like Beak Island, Brown Bluff, Cierva Cove, and Hidden Bay, following paths that few have trekked before. Antarctica is the final frontier for experienced explorers.

Leisurely day and spa time / Continuing the leisure journey

On Saunders Island, watch the water for Gentoo penguins as they surf the waves onto the shore. Along the rocky coasts, sheep and nesting albatross share stretches of tussock grass. Marvel over the rockhoppers and the small rookery of King penguins.
