The itinerary is a guide only and is subject to change due to weather and ice conditions. The Captain and/or Expedition Leader will make necessary adjustments to ensure the best possible experience.
Be part of a modernised Arctic voyage in the comfort of the state-of-the-art Ultramarine. The programme begins in Buenos Aires with dedicated luggage tagging and weighing services. The following day, a private charter flight will take you to Ushuaia to board the ship and begin your voyage through the Beagle Channel. Crossing Drake Passage becomes an exceptionally comfortable and educational experience, guided by passionate Expedition Leaders and polar scientists, complemented by a policy of complimentary basic Wi-Fi with no data limits and a carefully selected range of complimentary drinks at the bar.
Upon reaching the seventh continent, you will explore local channels and bays using fast-launching Zodiac tenders. Travellers will walk along snow-covered trails to elevated viewpoints, visit scientific research stations and observe the thriving colonies of Gentoo, Adélie and chinstrap penguins at close quarters, as well as keeping an eye out for whales and the elusive leopard seal. The major operational advantage of this programme is realised on Day 9: the ship arrives at King George Island to disembark passengers directly onto their private return flight to Punta Arenas, Chile. This avoids the two-day return crossing of the Drake Passage, maximising exploration time and guaranteeing a night’s stay at a first-class group hotel in Chilean Patagonia.
Highlights:
Optimised connectivity: Complimentary basic Wi-Fi with no data limits on one device throughout the voyage.
Exclusive return flight: Avoid the two-day return voyage across the Drake Passage entirely by flying directly to Punta Arenas.
Integrated dietary management: Onboard catering service tailored to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies notified in advance.
Daily Zodiac excursions and landings exploring local bays and penguin colonies on the Antarctic Peninsula.
Post-expedition hotel night included at a designated group hotel in Punta Arenas following the Antarctic flight.

When traveling in extremely remote regions, your expedition staff must allow the sea, the ice and the weather to guide route and itinerary details. This itinerary is a tentative outline of what you’ll experience on this voyage; please be aware that no specific itinerary can be guaranteed.
