Shore excursions are the backbone of almost all itineraries, with most ships making landfall at least once every day once they reach their destination. The weather plays a huge role in your daily itinerary, although given the sheer array of fantastic landing sites all over there are plenty of options your Captain and Expedition Leader can choose from. On-shore excursions allow you to visit scientific research stations, communities, prominent wildlife colonies and take hikes to elevated viewing points for fantastic photography.

This expedition travels along the legendary Beagle Channel and Strait of Magellan, allowing for intimate contact with the Darwin Mountain Range and Torres del Paine National Park. The journey offers a unique opportunity to observe marine wildlife in Francisco Coloane National Park and marvel at the geology of Madre de Dios Island.
The voyage continues north to visit the Pío XI Glacier, the largest in the southern hemisphere outside Antarctica, and the picturesque village of Caleta Tortel, famous for its cypress boardwalks. As they explore temperate rainforest ecosystems and rarely visited archipelagos, travellers are immersed in the wild beauty of Chilean Patagonia, culminating in the vibrant coastal city of Puerto Montt.

Day 2 - 3: Darwin Mountain Range and Glacier Alley
Sailing through Fuegian channels
Sailing through the Beagle Channel past the Holanda, Italia, Francia, Alemania, and Romanche glaciers. Conditions permitting, the Garibaldi fjord will be explored, featuring hanging glaciers and waterfalls.
Day 4: Strait of Magellan and Seno de Agostini
Tierra del Fuego Fjords
Entry into secluded fjords to visit Seno de Agostini and the Aguila glacier. The sailing continues along the Francisco Coloane Marine Park, a vital feeding ground for whales.
Day 5: Las Montañas Channel
Glaciers and temperate rainforest
A 60-kilometer stretch in the Aysén Region framed by peaks and lush forest. If conditions allow, a disembarkation will take place for an up-close encounter with the Bernal Glacier.
Day 6: Torres del Paine National Park

A private bus transfer into the heart of the park to witness granite towers, turquoise lakes, and diverse wildlife in the untamed wilderness.
