Embark on an expedition combining two extraordinary worlds, sailing from Scotland's historic Atlantic isles to the deep glacier-carved fjords of Arctic Norway. The journey begins by exploring cultural and natural gems of the Scottish archipelago, including the sacred island of Iona, remote and legendary St Kilda —with its towering sea cliffs and historic ruins—, and Fair Isle, a world-famous paradise for seabird watching. After crossing the North Sea, the itinerary delves into Norway's dramatic coastline, where jagged mountains plunge directly into the ocean beneath the mesmerizing glow of the midnight sun.
Along the Norwegian coast, travelers will discover the rich cultural heritage and biodiversity of the region. From the ancient traditions of the UNESCO-listed Vega Archipelago to the majesty of the Svartisen Glacier and the picturesque fishing villages of the Lofoten and Senja islands, each day provides deep immersion in untamed nature. Through guided walks, Zodiac cruises, and onboard lectures, this expedition offers a perfect balance of island history, monumental geology, and close wildlife encounters across the North Atlantic.
Highlights:
Exploration of St Kilda, a dual UNESCO World Heritage site featuring Britain’s highest sea cliffs.
Observation of extraordinary birdlife on Fair Isle and the Shetland Islands, including puffins, gannets, and guillemots.
