Not only we travel from one point to another and find our shelter on board the ship we chose. We also enjoy from incredible scenery, landscapes and interactions that only our noble vessel can provide.
Everyday the Bridge Team navigates the ship to position ourselves on the best posible spots, looking for unique opportunities.
Many times, this includes sainig through narrow passages, on the vicinity of glaciers or entering bays and fjords only approachable from the ship.

Shore Excursion More info about this activity
Shore excursions are the backbone of almost all itineraries, with most ships making landfall at least once every day once they reach their destination. The weather plays a huge role in your daily itinerary, although given the sheer array of fantastic landing sites all over there are plenty of options your Captain and Expedition Leader can choose from. On-shore excursions allow you to visit scientific research stations, communities, prominent wildlife colonies and take hikes to elevated viewing points for fantastic photography.
Photo Workshop More info about this activity
The photography workshops are composed of onboard lectures and practical activities led by dedicated expedition guide. Each session is meant to give you additional skills you can put into immediate practice out in nature.
You'll become more familiar with your own camera equipment while also learning best practices for taking pictures of moving wildlife and wide-open terrain in typical polar conditions, such as dim lighting and falling snow.
Zodiac cruising More info about this activity
On board the Zodiac you will discover a world of possibilities; accessing the most exclusive landing sites, cruising the coast in search of wildlife or simply enjoying a tour in the calm of the polar regions in search of marine wildlife or bird colonies.
The blue ice an its intimate presence is experienced at its best on zodiac tours.
It is not uncommon to meet curious seals, or humpback whales feeding.

Expedition cruising must be one of the most incredible ways of travelling. Not only for the amazing places you visit and the unforgetable wildlife but for the wildlife, the sensory overload and the unimaginable memories.
But all of this needs a context in order to understand where you are and what you are experiencing.
On board your expedition vessell you will find a group of experts, naturalists, zodiac drivers and guides that that will translate the language of nature for you, telling you the stories of the places you are visiting, reviewing the historical, biological, ecological and geological aspects of your trips.

Embark on a high-energy expedition designed for travelers who want an active, hands-on experience with the nature of West Greenland. The journey begins with a charter flight from Reykjavík to Kangerlussuaq, the gateway to step onto the vast Greenland Ice Sheet using crampons and explore monumental glaciers such as Russell Glacier. Along the coastal route, adventurers will explore Sisimiut through challenging hikes on the Arctic Circle Trail or climbs toward Nasaasaaq mountain, while discovering the rich Inuit culture that has inhabited this region for thousands of years.
The expedition continues into Disko Bay and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ilulissat Icefjord, where immense icebergs constantly calve from Sermeq Kujalleq glacier. On the volcanic Disko Island, participants can challenge themselves with a hike toward Lyngmark Glacier or explore coastal trails among basalt formations and tundra. Featuring daily Zodiac cruises, a dedicated sea kayaking program option, and sightings of polar wildlife such as musk oxen, whales, and seabirds, this voyage offers a pure and unforgettable immersion into Arctic territory.

Day 1: Arrive in Reykjavík

Upon arrival in Reykjavík, an expedition representative will meet you for the transfer to the group hotel. Visit the hospitality desk to collect cabin luggage tags and receive important pre-embarkation details. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the Icelandic capital independently.
Day 2: Fly to Kangerlussuaq and embark
Heading to Greenlandic territory
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for our charter flight to Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. Upon arrival, board the expedition vessel waiting at the head of a vast fjord. Settle into your cabin, attend mandatory safety briefings, and meet the Expedition Team over a welcome dinner.
Day 3: Kangerlussuaq
Greenland Ice Sheet and tundra
A day dedicated to active inland experiences in Greenland. Choose between a guided hike with crampon equipment on the Greenland Ice Sheet at Point 660, a visit to view the towering wall of Russell Glacier, or a tundra safari searching for musk oxen and reindeer. Kayakers will launch in Kangerlussuaq Fjord.
Day 4: Sisimiut
Arctic trails and Inuit culture
Sailing across the Arctic Circle, we arrive in Sisimiut. Active hikers can tackle sections of the legendary Arctic Circle Trail or climb toward Nasaasaaq mountain for sweeping views. Bike exploration will be offered if local access permits, alongside guided walks through colorful streets and historic sites.

Explore Ilulissat and its UNESCO World Heritage-listed Icefjord. Set out on foot along boardwalks and tundra trails to view immense icebergs calved from Sermeq Kujalleq glacier. Visit the architecturally striking Icefjord Centre to learn about thousands of years of human connection to this frozen environment.
Day 6-8: Disko Island and Surrounds

Three flexible expedition days exploring Disko Bay. On volcanic Disko Island, tackle a demanding climb toward Lyngmark Glacier gaining 800 meters for panoramas over Disko Bay, or take the moderate Kuannit trail through basalt columns and tundra. Enjoy Zodiac cruising among icebergs and watching for humpback and minke whales.
Day 9: Disembark in Kangerlussuaq and fly to Reykjavík
End of the Arctic adventure
