The photography workshops are composed of onboard lectures and practical activities led by dedicated expedition guide. Each session is meant to give you additional skills you can put into immediate practice out in nature.

You'll become more familiar with your own camera equipment while also learning best practices for taking pictures of moving wildlife and wide-open terrain in typical polar conditions, such as dim lighting and falling snow.

Arrive in Winnipeg and check into your hotel conveniently located at the airport. Welcome reception hosted by a Frontiers North Photo Specialist.

Day 2: Transfer to the Tundra Buggy Lodge
Flight to Churchill, photography tour, and evening workshop
Early morning flight to Churchill. Churchill and area photography tour; Polar Bears International House; Cultural Presentation from a local Indigenous Churchillian. Afternoon Tundra Buggy® transfer to the Tundra Buggy Lodge; Photo Workshop.

Days 3-5: Photographing Polar Bears on the Tundra
Full days of wildlife photography in Churchill Wildlife Management Area
Full day out in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area photographing polar bears and other subarctic wildlife on a Tundra Buggy®. Return back to the Tundra Buggy Lodge in the evening.

Day 6: Final Tundra Excursion and Flight to Winnipeg
Full day excursion and check-in
