Experience the breathtaking phenomenon where Arctic sea ice meets open water on an unforgettable 9-day floe edge safari in Admiralty Inlet. This expedition offers a rare opportunity to witness the annual migration of narwhal, the elusive "unicorns of the sea," as they socialize in pods and glide through icy waters. Guests can also expect to see beluga whales, seals, seabirds, and potentially polar bears in this wilderness known as the 'Line of Life'.

The journey begins in the community of Arctic Bay, deeply steeped in Inuit artistry and tradition. Guided by expert Inuit guides, guests travel by snowmobile-towed qamutik sled across vast frozen landscapes to a remote safari camp set directly on the ice. Here, travelers enjoy heated, insulated tents and gourmet meals under the 24-hour glow of the Midnight Sun. Activities include photography of epic landscapes, coastal hikes to ancient Thule sites, and, weather permitting, kayaking or snorkeling among the sea ice.
