This expedition proposes a deep circumnavigation of the Svalbard archipelago, immersing travelers in the primordial beauty of the High Arctic. From the departure in Oslo to reaching latitudes beyond 80°N, travelers will navigate through silent fjords and ice-strewn channels that few have ever seen. The voyage stands out for its focus on wildlife, allowing for thrilling encounters with polar bears on the pack ice, walruses on remote shores, and a diversity of seabirds inhabiting towering Arctic cliffs.

The journey combines the exploration of untouched nature with the history of polar pioneers. You will visit Ny Ålesund, one of the world's northernmost settlements and an active research center, where the spirit of early explorers still echoes. Through guided hikes across the tundra and Zodiac cruises in front of calving glaciers, each day offers a total immersion into a world of ice sculpted by time and bathed in the midnight sun, ensuring a complete and memorable Arctic experience.

Day 1: Arrive & Welcome
Oslo, Norway
Upon arrival at Oslo Airport, you will be greeted by our staff and transferred to the included hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the Norwegian capital, walk along Aker Brygge, or visit the Opera House.

Day 2: Fly to Svalbard & Embark
Longyearbyen, the Gateway to the Arctic
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Longyearbyen. Before boarding in the afternoon, explore this unique settlement at 78°N and visit the Global Seed Vault. Once on board, the voyage begins under the eternal midnight sun.

Day 3: History & Glaciers
Ny Ålesund & Krossfjord
Visit Ny Ålesund, the starting point for historic North Pole expeditions. We will explore Krossfjord and Kongsfjord by Zodiac, approaching the Lilliehöök Glacier front to hear the thunderous sound of calving ice.

Day 5: The Northwest Realm
Northwest Spitsbergen National Park
Navigation through dramatic fjords and extensive sea ice. In this high-latitude area, we will look for humpback whales, seals, and polar bears on the ice, attempting to push beyond 80°N if conditions allow.

Day 6: Hinlopen Strait
Northeast Svalbard Nature Reserve
We will explore Alkefjellet, a spectacular basalt cliff home to over 60,000 nesting pairs of thick-billed murres. We will also visit Torellneset, a classic site to observe groups of walruses resting on the beach.

Day 7: Southeast Landscapes
Barentsøya & Edgeøya
Exploration of volcanic landscapes and expansive tundra. We will hike to admire Arctic flora and look for Arctic foxes and reindeer, along with Zodiac cruising near glacier fronts.

Day 9: Southern Fjords
South Spitsbergen National Park
A day dedicated to the spectacular glaciers of the southwest. By Zodiac, we will observe the changing colors of icebergs and hike the tundra to appreciate serene mountain landscapes reflected in calm waters.

Day 10: Return to Civilization
Longyearbyen & Copenhagen
Disembarkation in Longyearbyen after breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your charter flight back to Copenhagen, concluding this deep Arctic expedition.
