Embark on one of the world's greatest maritime journeys, traveling westward through the legendary Northwest Passage beneath the extended light of late Arctic summer. Starting in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, the voyage crosses the Arctic Circle to explore the fjord-carved Sisimiut coast and the UNESCO World Heritage Ilulissat Icefjord, where Sermeq Kujalleq glacier releases monumental icebergs into Disko Bay. Sailing through the intricate channels of northwest Greenland and crossing Baffin Bay, passengers scan the open waters for migrating whales, seals, and pelagic seabirds.

Entering the Canadian Arctic Archipelago, the expedition navigates Smith Sound to visit Ausuittuq (Grise Fiord) on Ellesmere Island—Canada's northernmost civilian community. Guided by Inuit cultural educators and polar naturalists, guests explore Tallurutiup Imanga (Lancaster Sound) and uninhabited Devon Island by ship, Zodiac, and shore walks to observe narwhals, belugas, bowhead whales, walruses, polar bears, and muskoxen. The journey concludes with historic visits to Beechey Island, navigating Ikirahaq (Bellot Strait), and discovering the Kitikmeot Region before final disembarkation at Kugluktuk.

Highlights:
Comprehensive east-to-west transit through the heart of the legendary Northwest Passage.
Cruising among giant drifting icebergs at the UNESCO World Heritage Ilulissat Icefjord.
