The itinerary is for guidance only; the exact route depends on ice and weather conditions.
This 14-day expedition is our only itinerary featuring Greenland, the Canadian High Arctic, and the East Coast of Canada. It is a unique opportunity to witness the transition of biomes: from the treeless Arctic desert to the lush boreal taiga. You will have the chance to spot diverse wildlife ranging from polar bears and seals to black bears, caribou, and peregrine falcons.
The journey is a deep cultural mosaic. We begin with Inuit traditions and tidewater glaciers in Greenland, cross the Davis Strait to the Nunatsiavut territory in Labrador, and culminate in St. John’s, Newfoundland, a city steeped in Celtic music and coastal hospitality. The historical highlight is L'Anse aux Meadows, where you will walk upon 11th-century Viking ruins, proving that Norse voyagers discovered North America 500 years before Columbus.
Highlights:
Experience the unique features of both Arctic and boreal environments.
Witness countless icebergs at the Ilulissat Icefjord (UNESCO).
Visit the Viking ruins at L’Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site.
Explore the unrivaled wilderness of Torngat Mountains National Park.
Experience northern Indigenous cultures in Greenland and Labrador.
Conclude in St. John’s, one of the oldest and most welcoming cities in North America.

NOTE: Embracing the unexpected is part of the legacy—and excitement—of expedition travel. When traveling in extremely remote regions, your expedition staff must allow the sea, the ice and the weather to guide route and itinerary details. This itinerary is a tentative outline of what you’ll experience on this voyage; please be aware that no specific itinerary can be guaranteed.
