Experience the diversity of Earth’s largest island on this thrilling voyage through West, South, and East Greenland. This expedition traces the Norse sea route starting in the picture-perfect village of Kangaamiut and the cliffs of Eternity Fjord, before exploring Nuuk, the colourful capital where traditional customs meet modern life. The journey continues through the lush green fjords of the south, visiting the first European settlement in the Americas and navigating the spectacular glacier-lined Prins Christians Sund, surrounded by towering peaks, until reaching the stillness of Skjoldungen Fjord.

The voyage culminates on the rugged East Coast, where travellers can immerse themselves in Tunumiit culture in Tasiilaq and explore military history at Ikateq before crossing the Denmark Strait to Reykjavík. Accompanied by a team of experts, passengers will enjoy educational lectures and citizen science projects while admiring the majesty of icebergs in Sermilikfjord. Day 1: All Aboard in Kangerlussuaq!
Arctic adventure beginning
Arrival in Kangerlussuaq, a key air hub with Cold War history. Zodiac transfer to the ship to settle into cabins. After the safety drill, we toast with champagne as we begin our journey through the stunning Kangerlussuaq fjord.

Day 2: Kangaamiut and Evighedsfjorden
The Eternity Fjord
Arrival in Kangaamiut, a village where hunting and fishing shape daily life. Enjoy a cultural welcome with local crafts and food. In the afternoon, we explore "The Eternity Fjord" by Zodiac, cruising past majestic glaciers and dramatic bird cliffs.

Day 3: Nuuk, Capital of Greenland
Ancient meets contemporary
Nuuk is the country's cultural and political center. We will visit the National Museum to see the Qilakitsoq mummies and the Katuaq cultural center. Known as “Nuuk York” by locals, it offers a singular blend of Paleo-Inuit history and modern architecture.

Day 4: At Sea, En Route to South Greenland
Sailing the Davis Strait
We sail south along the rugged coast. Warm Atlantic currents enrich these waters, making them ideal for spotting whales, seals, and seabirds. Keep your camera ready as our expert team shares insights on local ecology.

Day 5: Qassiarsuk and Itilleq Kujalleq
In the footsteps of Erik the Red
Arrival in Qassiarsuk, site of Erik the Red’s 10th-century farm, Brattahlíđ. In the afternoon, we hike from Itilleq through green fields to Igaliku to visit the ruins of Garđar bishopric, once the seat of Norse power in Greenland.

Day 6: Appilaattoq and Prins Christian Sund
One of the world’s most spectacular waterways
Visit Aappilattoq, a remote village beneath granite cliffs. Later, we sail through Prins Christian Sund, a 60 km iceberg-filled strait linking East and West Greenland, surrounded by glaciers and deep valleys.

Day 7: Skjoldungen/Saqqisikuik
Unspoiled wilderness in the southeast
Explore this uninhabited fjord on the southeast coast. Surrounded by breathtaking peaks, highlights include Thryms Glacier and the valley of Dronning Marie Dal. Weather permitting, we will enjoy a Zodiac cruise or a landing to explore.

Day 8: Sermilikfjord
Armadas of ice
Sail through breathtaking Sermilikfjord, where vast icebergs from Helheim Glacier drift toward the North Atlantic. Join a Zodiac cruise to marvel at natural ice sculptures tens of thousands of years in the making.

Day 9: Ikateq and Kuummiit
Military history and local culture
In the morning, visit Ikateq, an abandoned American airbase from 1947 that remains untouched. In the afternoon, we head to Kuummiit, a beautiful village in Ammassalik Fjord, to connect with the friendly locals and experience East Greenlandic culture.

Day 10: Tasiilaq, East Greenland
Land of shamans and tupilaks
Tasiilaq is the largest settlement in the east. It preserves the unique culture of the Tunumiit people and is the origin of the tupilak, a magical creature now celebrated as an art form. See sled dogs, drum dancing, and visit local artist workshops.

Day 11: At Sea, Crossing the Denmark Strait
Farewell to the Arctic
Cross the passage between Iceland and Greenland, teeming with marine life. The expedition team shares final insights on geology and wildlife before celebrating the Captain’s Farewell Cocktail Party to toast our adventure.

Day 12: Reykjavik, Iceland
Return to civilization
After breakfast, bid farewell to the crew and team in Reykjavik. The vibrant Icelandic capital, with its Nordic cuisine and museums, marks the end of this epic journey, leaving memories of a lifetime.
