The itinerary is an example; ice conditions, weather, and community needs dictate the final route.
This expedition bridges the modernity of the Greenlandic Arctic with the untamed coast of Labrador. The journey begins in the immense Kangerlussuaq Fjord, crossing the Arctic Circle toward Nuuk, a capital where contemporary architecture merges with Inuit tradition. After crossing the Davis Strait, we enter Torngat Mountains National Park, a sacred and remote territory where granite peaks drop vertically into deep fjords. Here, guided by Inuit hosts, we explore the "Land of Spirits," a place of raw beauty that remains one of Canada’s best-kept secrets.
The itinerary balances wildlife watching—with chances to see polar bears and whales—with deep historical immersion. From the remains of the Moravian mission at Hebron, a testament to local resilience, to the site of L’Anse aux Meadows in Newfoundland, where Vikings landed a thousand years ago, each stop tells a chapter of human history in the North Atlantic. The voyage culminates in historic St. John’s, entering through the dramatic "Narrows," closing an adventure defined by the spirit of discovery and cultural connection.
Highlights:
Sailing through the "Fjord of Eternity" beneath active glaciers.
Exclusive exploration of Torngat Mountains National Park with Inuit guides.
Visit to L’Anse aux Meadows (UNESCO), the only authenticated Norse site in North America.
Cultural immersion in Nunatsiavut communities, learning about Inuit art and self-governance.

When traveling in extremely remote regions, your expedition staff must allow the sea, the ice and the weather to guide route and itinerary details. This itinerary is a tentative outline of what you’ll experience on this voyage; please be aware that no specific itinerary can be guaranteed.
