This expedition traces the coasts of Greenland and Labrador through Inuit Nunangat, the ancestral home where ice and sea shape life. Starting above the Arctic Circle, travelers will explore monumental fjords like the "Fjord of Eternity" and Greenland's vibrant capital, Nuuk, where modernity intertwines with ancient traditions. The voyage crosses the Davis Strait, home to whales and seabirds, to enter Torngat Mountains National Park, a sacred landscape co-managed by Inuit and alive with spirituality.

Along the rugged Labrador coast, Nunatsiavut communities and the poignant ruins of Hebron will be visited, telling stories of displacement and return. The journey also includes a stop at L’Anse aux Meadows, the only verified Norse site in North America, where Indigenous and Norse histories first met. The adventure concludes in the colourful harbour of St. John’s, Newfoundland, offering a profound insight into the connection between land, sea, and community.

After a charter flight from Toronto, transfer by Zodiac to the expedition vessel to sail through Kangerlussuaq Fjord, a 190 km corridor of mountains and glaciers.

Day 2: Kangerlussuatsiaq Fjord (Evighedsfjorden)
At the Foot of a Glacier
Explore the "Fjord of Eternity" by Zodiac beneath sheer cliffs and calving ice in a palette of blue and white tones.

Day 3: Nuuk, Greenland
Where Arctic Tradition Meets Modern Life
Visit Greenland’s capital, where Inuit culture shapes daily life among colourful homes and modern architecture beneath Mount Sermitsiaq.

Day 4: At Sea—Davis Strait
Stories on the Open Water
Cross the Davis Strait while Inuit cultural educators and scientists share knowledge that deepens the understanding of the Arctic.

Day 5–8: Torngat Mountains National Park, NL, Canada
Land of Spirits and Stone
Explore rugged peaks and glacial valleys guided by Inuit hosts. There is a possibility of spotting polar bears in this untamed and remote landscape.

Ponder Poignant History
Step ashore at this former Moravian mission to hear stories of families displaced in the 1950s and visit the preserved church.
