The itinerary is packed with high-value scientific and cultural activities, including visits to the Leatherdale International Polar Bear Conservation Centre and the Itsanitaq Museum. Guests will experience traditional dog sledding and receive a cultural presentation from a local Indigenous Churchill resident. The heart of the trip features multiple days in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area, staying at the Tundra Buggy Lodge for maximum immersion among wild bears.

Day 1: Arrival in Winnipeg
Reception and Airport Hotel Check-in
Arrive in Winnipeg and check into your hotel conveniently located at the airport. You will attend a welcome reception hosted by a Frontiers North Interpretive Guide. Overnight at a Winnipeg hotel.

Day 2: Churchill and Cultural History
Flight North and Local Exploration
Take an early morning flight to Churchill to begin your adventure. The day includes a tour of the Churchill area, a visit to the Itsanitaq Museum, and a stop at the Polar Bears International House. In the evening, enjoy a cultural presentation from a local Indigenous resident. Overnight at a Churchill hotel.

Day 3: Dog Sledding and Lodge Transfer
Interpretive Programs and Tundra Buggy® Boarding
Participate in a dog sledding experience and an interpretive program. Revisit the Polar Bears International House before a mid-afternoon Tundra Buggy® transfer to the Tundra Buggy Lodge. Overnight at Tundra Buggy Lodge.

Day 4: Tundra Buggy® Field Research
Full Day Wildlife and Expert Presentation
Spend a full day in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area searching for wild polar bears on a Tundra Buggy®. In the evening, attend an exclusive presentation from a leading Polar Bears International Scientist. Overnight at Tundra Buggy Lodge.

Day 5: Deep Tundra Immersion
Continued Wildlife Observation and Science Insights Enjoy another full day of polar bear viewing in their natural subarctic environment. A second presentation from the accompanying scientist will offer deeper insights into polar bear biology and conservation. Overnight at Tundra Buggy Lodge.

Day 6: Final Wildlife Excursion and Return South
Last Shots on the Tundra and Flight to Winnipeg
Spend your final full day on the Tundra Buggy® exploring the wildlife management area. In the evening, take the flight back to Winnipeg and check into your airport hotel.
