This small-ship adventure navigates south, offering multiple ways to explore the remote landscape—by ship, on foot, and via Zodiac—showcasing the striking contrasts and changes of the Arctic. During the August 3, 2026 departure, travelers may experience a partial or total solar eclipse against the vast, icy backdrop of the Kejser Franz Joseph Fjord, turning the view into an unparalleled cosmic event.

The itinerary focuses on the pursuit of unique wildlife, especially the elusive polar bears hunting seals, Svalbard's distinct reindeer subspecies, and Arctic foxes. A key cultural highlight is the visit to Ittoqqortoormiit, one of the most remote towns in Greenland, where residents rely heavily on hunting and fishing. The expedition emphasizes informed and balanced interpretation through stimulating lectures on ornithology, marine biology, history, and photography, led by a professional team.
