Day 1: Arrival & Pick up rental car
Overnight in Reykjavik
Arrival at the airport and collection of the rental car to transfer to the capital. Overnight in the Reykjavik area.
Day 2: Explore Snaefellsnes including a 1h guided tour into Vatnshellir cave
Overnight Borgarnes area
A day dedicated to exploring the magical Snaefellsnes peninsula, including a one-hour guided tour through the interior of the historic Vatnshellir cave. Overnight in the Borgarnes area.
Day 3: Embrace the West
Overnight Borgarnes area
Time to venture into and be surprised by the landscapes, waterfalls, and history of the majestic western region of Iceland. Overnight in the Borgarnes area.
Day 4: Thingvellir - Geysir – Gullfoss
Overnight in Fludir/Selfoss/Hverargerdi area
A journey through the three great wonders of the Golden Circle: Thingvellir National Park, the Geysir geothermal area, and the majestic Gullfoss waterfall. Overnight in the Fludir, Selfoss, or Hverargerdi area.
Day 5: South Coast
Overnight in Vik/Klaustur area
Driving along the spectacular South Coast, viewing iconic waterfalls, black sand beaches, and unique rock formations. Overnight in the Vík or Klaustur area.
Day 6: Jökulsarlon Glacier Lagoon & Skaftafell
Overnight same location
Visit to the stunning Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where icebergs float, and exploration of the Skaftafell area. Overnight at the same location as the previous night.
Day 7: Drive back, soak in the waters of the Blue Lagoon, Flyover experience
Overnight in Keflavik/Reykjavik area
Heading back west to enjoy a relaxing soak in the geothermal waters of the Blue Lagoon and experience the Flyover attraction. Overnight in the Keflavík or Reykjavik area.
