Escape into another realm as you board our luxury boutique ice-class ship on this once-in-a-lifetime trip from South America to New Zealand. Our epic semi-circumnavigation cruise of Antarctica fulfils the ultimate bucket list, sailing on glassy seas, passing by monumental icebergs, unheralded landscapes and phenomenal wildlife. We explore icy waters to reach the world’s southernmost islands where only a handful of adventurers, explorers and scientists have been before. As we cross the polar circle, you get to join an elite group of people who have been to some of the least-visited places on the planet.

This journey connects the end of the world in Ushuaia with the Victorian elegance of Dunedin, crossing the Ross Sea and Peter I Island. The experience combines the rigors of polar exploration with onboard refinement, allowing for observations ranging from emperor penguin colonies to the perfectly preserved historic huts of past explorers. It is an unparalleled opportunity to witness the magnitude of translucent ice bergs and wildlife in its purest state, including whales, leopard seals, and elephant seals in regions that remain almost untouched since their discovery.

Highlights:
Epic semi-circumnavigation of Antarctica crossing the polar circle.
Exploration of the Ross Sea, one of the last pristine marine ecosystems.
Visit to remote and seldom-visited locations such as Peter I Island and Shepard Island.
Observation of diverse wildlife including emperor penguins, whales, and orcas.
Tour of historic polar expedition huts from the last century.

Day 1: Ushuaia
The End of the World
Ushuaia is the gateway to the White Continent. Nestled in the foothills of the snow-capped Martial Range in Argentina's Patagonia region, its colourful streets cascade from the mountains to the shores of the Beagle Channel.

Day 2-3: Day at sea
Relaxation and Preparation
Spend your day at sea enjoying the facilities available onboard. Head to the sauna, get in a workout in the gym or relax in the hot tub while taking in the views. Listen to an informative talk or have a chat with our experts.

Day 4-6: Antarctic Peninsula
The White Dream
Cruise among captivating glaciers, majestic icebergs and snowy islands. Shore excursions might include Mikkelsen Harbour, where gentoo penguins and Weddell seals haul out. Explore the photogenic Lemaire Channel and scientific bases.

Day 7-8: Day at sea
Towards the Remote South
Continue enjoying the onboard facilities as you head towards less-visited areas. The expedition team will share insights on the ecology of the Southern Ocean.

Day 9: Peter Island, Bellinghausen Sea
A Volcanic Refuge
This ice-covered volcanic island is claimed by Norway and is rarely visited. It is home to elephant seals, cape pigeons and southern fulmars, surrounded by translucent bergs and whales.

Polar Navigation
Days spent crossing the waters of the Bellingshausen Sea. Take the opportunity to relax in the spa or participate in lecture programs about polar exploration history.

Day 13: Shepard Island

Day 14: Day at sea
Heading to the Ross Sea
A day to enjoy silent navigation and panoramic views as the ship ventures further into the heart of Antarctica.

Day 15: Bay Of Whales

Experience time travel first-hand as you cross this imaginary line in the Pacific. Sailors celebrate with the Ceremony of the Domain of the Golden Dragon. You will lose a day as you cross.
