This itinerary is a combined expedition utilizing two distinct vessels. During the course of the voyage, passengers will transfer between the main expedition ship and a specialized sailing yacht to allow for deeper and more flexible exploration in the remote regions of the Antarctic Peninsula.

Day 1: Ushuaia, Argentina
The start of the adventure
Board the expedition vessel in the afternoon, where you'll meet your crew and fellow travellers. After settling into your cabin, the ship sets off along the picturesque Beagle Channel. Relish your first evening at sea as the southernmost tip of South America disappears from view.

Days 2-3: Crossing the Drake Passage
Heading to Antarctica
Start your Antarctic adventure with a crossing of the Drake Passage, a vast stretch of open ocean that marks the Antarctic Convergence. While at sea, attend expert-led talks on Antarctica’s history, wildlife, and geology. By the end of Day 3, the first sighting of icebergs and snow-capped peaks will signal your arrival at the South Shetland Islands.

Days 4-7: Exploring the Antarctic Peninsula
Immersive exploration
The core of the journey unfolds as you explore the Antarctic Peninsula and South Shetland Islands, with each day offering a blend of landings, Zodiac cruises, and optional adventure activities. You will visit penguin colonies, discover historic huts, and explore vantage points. Navigation through narrow channels and scenic bays allows for sightings of seals resting on ice floes and whales feeding.

Days 8-13: Onboard the expedition yacht
Antarctica’s wild side
Disembark your main ship and join a small group aboard a sturdy, expedition-equipped sailing yacht. For six days, immerse yourself fully in Antarctica’s wild side. Sail deep into narrow channels, secluded bays, and remote anchorages unreachable by larger vessels. Enjoy daily Zodiac excursions, guided hikes across pristine terrain, and the freedom to stay longer where nature calls.

Days 14-17: Exploring the Antarctic Peninsula
Return to the main vessel
Back onboard your main expedition ship, join with crew and passengers and share tales of your sailing adventure as we continue to explore the Antarctic Peninsula and head northward.

Days 18-19: Crossing the Drake Passage (Northbound)
Reflection and return
Relive your adventures as you cross the Drake Passage, keeping an eye out for seabirds and whales along the way. Take part in final lectures or workshops, and enjoy a celebratory dinner with your fellow travellers as you reflect on the unforgettable journey.

Day 20: Return to Ushuaia
Disembarkation
Arrive back in Ushuaia in the early morning. After breakfast, disembark with cherished memories of an epic Antarctic expedition and new stories to tell.
