This Falkland Islands, South Georgia, and Antarctic Peninsula cruise is an animal-lover’s dream come true. The expedition explores one of the last untamed areas on Earth – a land of ruggedly beautiful landscapes and amazingly varied wildlife. Starting in Ushuaia, travelers will cross the Beagle Channel to reach the gem-like Falkland Islands, home to diverse birdlife and dolphins. The journey then heads to South Georgia, where king penguins walk abandoned whaling station streets and elephant seals dominate the scenic bays.

As the vessel pushes further south, it enters the realm of enormous icebergs and the Antarctic Peninsula. Here, the complex food chain is topped by whales, seals, and iconic species like the Adélie penguin. With a program of lectures by noted naturalists and activities by Zodiac, the voyage offers close encounters with glaciers and wildlife in a breathtaking polar world. Flexibility is paramount as the expedition leader determines the final plan based on weather and wildlife conditions, ensuring a profound and safe Arctic experience.

Highlights:
Flora and fauna of the Falkland Islands, including endemic bird species.
Massive king penguin colonies at Salisbury Plain and St. Andrews Bay.
Stepping foot on the Antarctic Continent and visiting scientific stations.
Zodiac cruises to explore ice-clogged sounds and towering icebergs.

When traveling in extremely remote regions, your expedition staff must allow the sea, the ice and the weather to guide route and itinerary details.
