This expedition invites travelers to immerse themselves in the polar realm, departing from the edge of the world toward the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula. Here, glaciers descend majestically from high plateaus into the sea, while colossal icebergs drift through silent bays. Passengers will not only observe Antarctica from a distance but will set foot on the continent itself, experiencing it through Zodiac cruises, guided landings, and kayak excursions, living an immersive expedition designed to bring them closer to the White Continent in every possible way.

Wildlife is the protagonist of this journey, where penguins gather in active colonies along snowy shores and whales surface in the frigid waters near the ice edge. Flexibility is the key to our adventure; each day is shaped by weather and ice conditions, allowing for visits to international scientific stations and historic sites. It is an opportunity to connect deeply with pristine nature, documenting the fragility of the ecosystem and marveling at the vastness of the Antarctic landscape.

Highlights:
Exploration of iconic landscapes in the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula.
Observation of penguin colonies, seals resting on ice, and whales in polar waters.
Zodiac cruises among massive icebergs and glacier fronts.
Landings on the continent to hike across snow-covered terrain and rugged shorelines.
Visit to scientific research stations to learn about the international community in Antarctica.

NOTE: Embracing the unexpected is part of the legacy—and excitement—of expedition travel. When traveling in extremely remote regions, your expedition staff must allow the sea, the ice and the weather to guide route and itinerary details. This itinerary is a tentative outline of what you’ll experience on this voyage; please be aware that no specific itinerary can be guaranteed.
