This classic 11-day voyage to the 7th Continent is designed to explore the very best of Antarctica’s diverse wildlife and ethereal landscapes. The experience begins in Buenos Aires and includes a private charter flight to Ushuaia, followed by sailing down the historic Beagle Channel. While crossing the Drake Passage, the Expedition Team will begin dynamic presentations to prepare you for your upcoming excursions, and you will officially enter Antarctica when your ship crosses the Antarctic Convergence.

The most common reaction upon reaching the continent is a sense of reverence and awe, as the experience is beyond words. You will enjoy four full days of exploration, taking Zodiac excursions to explore glaciated bays and landing sites. You’ll encounter various wildlife, including chinstrap, Adélie and gentoo penguins, seals, and curious whales such as humpbacks, minkes, or perhaps orcas. Every day is unique, having been carefully crafted by your Expedition Team to inspire and educate you about this wonderful part of the world.

Day 1: Arrive in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Independent transfer to designated group hotel
Arrive in this splendid city, known for its vibrant Argentinian culture, European architecture and cosmopolitan vibe. You will independently transfer to the designated group hotel, which is included in your Charter Flight & Hotel Package.

Day 2: Fly to Ushuaia and Embark
Private charter flight and Beagle Channel sailing
The group will transfer to the airport and board our private charter flight to Ushuaia. After a transfer to the downtown area for exploration, we will sail along the historic Beagle Channel after a late afternoon embarkation.

Days 3-4: Crossing the Drake Passage
Polar Experts, presentations, and Antarctic Convergence
Legendary for its high winds and rolling seas, spend your time relaxing as our Expedition Team begins their series of presentations to help prepare you for your upcoming Zodiac and land excursions. You officially enter Antarctica when your ship crosses the Antarctic Convergence.

Days 5-8: South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula
Zodiac excursions and wildlife consorting
You will take Zodiac excursions from the ship to explore glaciated bays, channels and landing sites. Your Expedition Team will guide you as you consort with chinstrap, Adélie and gentoo penguins. Keep an eye out for Weddell, fur, crabeater and leopard seals as well as curious whales.

Days 9-10: Crossing the Drake Passage
Final presentations and celebration
The journey back across the Drake Passage provides final opportunities to enjoy the crisp Antarctic air. Spend time on the deck, watching for seabirds and scouting for whales. Celebrate the experiences shared exploring Antarctica.

Day 11: Disembark in Ushuaia
Departure
You will arrive in Ushuaia in the morning and disembark after breakfast. Your Charter Flight & Hotel Package includes a transfer to the airport for the return group charter flight to Buenos Aires.
